The problem
Wise account statements use their own column names — Payee Name, Payment Reference — while Xero's bank-statement import expects Payee, Reference, Date, Amount and Description. UK Xero orgs also want DD/MM/YYYY dates.
What Mappd does
Mappd renames Wise's columns to the ones Xero's bank-statement import expects, reformats dates to UK DD/MM/YYYY, and strips currency symbols from the amount so Xero reads it as a number.

What columns does this recipe rename?
Date → Date (DD/MM/YYYY). Amount → Amount (currency prefix stripped). Payee Name → Payee. Description → Description. Payment Reference → Reference.
