The problem
Shopify's order export has dozens of columns QuickBooks doesn't need, dates in the wrong format, and currency symbols that break QuickBooks' number fields. Finance teams spend hours cleaning this every month.
What Mappd does
Mappd strips unnecessary columns, converts Shopify's date format to ISO, removes currency symbols from amount fields, and renames columns to match QuickBooks' expected headers.

Common questions
How do I convert a Shopify export to QuickBooks format?
Mappd converts Shopify order CSV exports into the three columns QuickBooks Online's bank import actually accepts — Date, Description and Amount — reformatting Created at to UK DD/MM/YYYY, mapping Name to Description, and stripping the currency symbol from Total. Processing is client-side. Typical run time: 2 minutes.
What columns does this recipe rename?
Created at → Date (UK DD/MM/YYYY). Name → Description. Total → Amount (currency symbol stripped). QuickBooks Online's bank import only accepts these three columns, so nothing else is carried over.
Does my file get uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your file's data is only sent to Mappd if you save the conversion to your history.
Is this free?
Yes. Mappd is free for three saved recipes and unlimited rows. Free to use, with no card required. Pro (£15/month) lifts the recipe limit and keeps your last 50 conversions. AI column matching is on Pro+ (£25/month).
