The problem
PayPal's activity export gives you Name, Type, Gross and an email column — Xero's bank-statement import wants Date, Amount, Payee, Description and Reference. The Gross figure carries a currency symbol Xero won't accept, and the email arrives mixed-case.
What Mappd does
Mappd remaps PayPal's activity columns to Xero's bank-statement import headers, keeps the dates in DD/MM/YYYY (what UK Xero expects), strips the currency prefix from Gross, and lowercases the email used as the reference.
Column transformations
Date → Date (DD/MM/YYYY)
Gross → Amount (currency stripped)
Name → Payee (trimmed)
Type → Description (trimmed)
From Email → Reference (lowercased)
