About Mappd

A common problem.
Without a small, safe fix.

Millions of people have to reshape a spreadsheet to make it fit somewhere else — once a week, once a month, once a quarter. Almost none of them have a tool that's small enough, fast enough, and safe enough for the job.

The job nobody designed for.

It's the same shape everywhere. Export from one tool. Rename a few columns. Reformat dates. Strip currency symbols. Drop a few fields the destination doesn't want. Import. Done — until next week.

It's not anyone's main job, but it eats real hours. The person doing it usually knows exactly what needs to happen — they just don't have a clean way to make it happen. So they do it by hand. Or they paste it into ChatGPT, fix what it gets wrong, and hope for the best. Or they ask the data team and wait three days. Or they buy an enterprise platform built for a different problem entirely.

Small recurring tasks shouldn't need an entire system. They should need a tool you can pick up, use, and put down — and have it actually work the first time.

What Mappd is.

Mappd is built for that small task. Drop in a CSV or Excel file from any tool. Pick a recipe — one we suggest or one you build — and you'll see exactly what's about to change before anything exports. No guesswork. No surprises. No system to learn.

If it's a one-off, run it once and move on. If it's a job you'll do again, save the recipe — and the next run, and every run after, is a single click. One or a hundred times — the same recipe works either way.

Built for people who want to get work done.

Mappd doesn't ask you to onboard, talk to sales, set up a pipeline, or learn a query language. It doesn't assume you have a team. It doesn't try to be your data platform. The whole product is one short flow — upload, map, review, export — designed to be fast on the first run and faster on every run after.

If you have a five-minute task on a Tuesday afternoon, Mappd is for you. If you have the same five-minute task every Tuesday afternoon, Mappd is even more for you.

Three things that make it work.

The product looks the way it does because of three deliberate choices. Each of them is what makes the small-task case actually viable.

01 · Reusable recipes

Built once, run forever.

Every mapping you build can be saved as a recipe — your column renames, your date conversions, your currency rules. Run it once next month, every Friday, or every hour. Same recipe, same result.

02 · Sign-off, not silent

You see every change.

Before anything exports, Mappd shows a plain-English diff: every renamed column, every reformatted value, every row affected. You approve it or you adjust it. Nothing slips through.

03 · Client-side, by default

Your file stays with you.

For most file sizes, parsing and transformation happen entirely in your browser. Your spreadsheet doesn't need to leave your machine. UK GDPR by construction — not a checkbox you have to trust.

Not an enterprise platform.

There's a real category of software for this kind of problem — ETL pipelines, data integration platforms, custom-built ingestion. Those tools are powerful and serious. They're also expensive, slow to set up, and built for engineering teams running thousands of rows an hour through automated infrastructure.

Most people don't have that problem. They have a Tuesday-afternoon problem. Mappd is built for the Tuesday-afternoon problem, and priced like it.

Where it goes from here.

We start with the most-searched bridges: Xero → Salesforce, LinkedIn → HubSpot, Shopify → QuickBooks, ERP → Excel, Ads → reporting. Those are the live presets today. If yours isn't there yet, build it once in Mappd — and you've made it a one-click job from then on.

The recipe library grows with the people who use it. Every saved recipe is one less time anyone has to figure that handoff out from scratch.

Built in London. Made to be useful.

Mappd is a small, independent UK product for a problem too many people have without a small, fast, safe fix. The free tier is genuinely useful. The paid tiers are honestly priced. The recipes are yours.
